The Society

As an independent Society, the Finnish Society For Synthetic Chemistry was founded in 2012 . today, almost ten years later, the society has been inactive for some years. However, some of our active members are now willing to reshape the society and start the active work again. 

We would like to welcome to our community all of you who are keen into synthetic chemistry, are working with synthetic chemistry or are eager to learn more about it! No matter, if you are doing organic synthesis, inorganic synthesis, material chemistry or any other field of chemistry utilizing synthetic approaches.

There has been a lot of ideas about the activities the society would have in the future, like the continuing the synthetic chemistry Spring Meetings, national lectures, graduate courses, different thesis and article prizes and building up a network of national experts.
